august

just a lovely side note before i go on with this post- 

yesterday in my car, i noticed my mosquito plastered to the inside of my windshield that i had frantically murdered about a week ago. 

i had forgotten about it and hadnt swiped it off yet. it made me laugh because i remember driving and trying to kill a mosquito at the same time, and how i went to all that trouble so i wouldnt get bit. 

can you imagine seeing the person next to you driving dodging some tiny bug and chasing it around the car with their fist, acting like it was gonna kill them? haha im an idiot.

no off of that tangent, AUGUST is my most favorite month ever. 

growing up it was always the month you get a shopping spree for school. it is the best weather of the year. i love the smell of the summer nights in august and the bright mornings it brings the next day. i love it because its the month of my birthday too (: and more times than not, has it been bound to rain on my birthday. which i love. warm summer rain (: 

ohhh why cant august last longerr? also, i hope that my aunts baby comes early, little ashley may is due on september 10, but if she is just born a little earlier (like all of my aunts other babies) than we can share the same birthday month! you see, sharing the same birthday month in our family is like the best thing that can ever happen to you. our family is really close and we love any excuse to have a get-together. i already share august with my aunts first son, jason, and if little ashley is born in august, we can combine all of our birthdays and have a huge celebration! plus, i cant wait to hold this darling baby! cheers to august <3
