early this afternoon i finally got to meet ashley may buchanan! she just slept in my arms while we chatted. look how happy these parents are!!!!

what a great day for a birthday!
today was great! although makelle and i had opposite schedules,
we were still able to celebrate in the early morning and later evening! and something special happened today too!
little Ashley was born!!! i am so happy for my aunt and uncle and their little family of 5 kids now! wow they are incredibly brave! i cant wait to meet the new addition to their family.

wonderful weekend
im sorry that this is a longer post, and some of the pictures are blurry! (and yes, i know i wore a million different outfits in one day)
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A GOOD BIRTHDAY! i feel like such a spoiled girl. i was able to spend time with and talk to so many people i care about, and it was the best thing to have for a birthday! I will start with friday, the beginning of the weekend!
PART ONE
heber
makelle, brionna, jonathan, and i went up to heber to steve's (makelle and brionna's dad) house to celebrate his birthday, which was in july, but we missed since he was in cali! it was so much fun, and makelle made such an adorable cake for her dad!
we also went hot tubbing.....
and we became the best rock band ever!!
PART TWO

On our way home we stopped to eat breakfast! My birthday begins!

birthday dinner
first, the sunset was gorgeouuus. just for my birthday (: then we went up on a hill at the top of salt lake, and watched the lightning in the valley, it was so pretty! then phil took me out to melting pot. on the way home, the lightning was crazy! and then it poured, it always rains on my birthday, and i lovee it.

my birthday cake! i have never had such an exquisite cake!
three layers- strawberry, lemon, and milk chocolate, with milk chocolate frosting in the middle, and home made cream cheese frosting all over!!! thanks makelle! xo

i did my part as a citizen today. (:
i love that feeling when you pull over for an emergency vehicle!
number one, because you "know the drill" and everyone else does, so its totally legit.
number two, because i love hearing the sirens and watching the truck/car speed pass, it gets my adrenaline.
number three, because i am helping a hero (:
my baby brother nathan, drowned in the tub when he was almost one, and those firefighters and paramedics are especially heroes to my family.
nathan flat lined twice, and they thought even if he did make it, that he would have major brain damage.
but he woke up, and was perfectly fine.
he is now eleven and is so smart and athletic, and a very funny kid.
so next time you see an emergency vehicle, be as eager as i get to help a hero. <3 love you nathan
